Is Divya Khosla Kumar a super woman?
The debutante director has choreographed five songs in her film along with directing with the movie. We wonder why she didn’t act in the movie as well…
Divya Khosla Kumar, who is coming up with her directorial debut Yaariyan, has also choreographed five songs in the movie namely, Baarish, Meri Maa, Love Me Thoda Aur, Allah Waariyan and Zor Lagake Haishaa. She has previously directed many music videos she thinks that people have already started liking her choreography inBaarish and Allah Waariyan. She feels that’s a good start and when people see the movie, they would love it even more. Really..?
Husband Bhushan Kumar is all praise for her, as he says that she wanted more precision in the dance choreography and therefore, decided to do them herself. The film stars Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet Singh, Dev Sharma, Nicole Faria and Shreyas Pardiwalla in lead roles, which promises to be a fun filled college movie.
We think that Baarish and Allah Waariyan were good, but she should never choreograph a rock concert because she has done a mess of a good song, Meri Maa. The performance by Himansh Kohli and Nicole Faria looks fake and the picturisation is pretty bad. We recommend her to stick to only those tracks which don’t require much of dancing and for the rest, she should hire a good choreographer. Why not put hubby’s money to good use Divya? Haina peeps??
Dhoom:3 – Aamir Khan vrooms ahead of competition to make Rs 500 crore box office record!

Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif along with their Dhoom:3 cast and crew can now celebrate the stupendous success of their last release. Dhoom:3 did manage to end 2013 with a bang and has upped the success quotient for 2014. Yash Raj’s latest installment of the successful Dhoom franchise has made a dashing entry into the Rs 500 crore club, in fact it is the first Bollywood film to hit this mark. According to the makers their film has grossed Rs 501.35 crore ($83.56 million) worldwide. The film hit the theatres on Dec 20 last year and created a splash at the box office.
Today, Yash Raj Films (YRF), issued an official statement confirming the news. In their press release the makers of the film said, ”Dhoom:3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs 500 crore worldwide.” They also gave a detailed break up of their collections internationally.
Gross box office collections in India – Rs 351.29 crore
Gross collections in the overseas market – Rs 150.06 crore ($25.01 million).

Shahrukh Khan continues to rule the world of entertainment with his inimitable charm and stupendous popularity. Reaffirming his king-size presence in Bollywood the Chennai Express actor has gone past Mr Perfectionst of B-town Aamir Khan. It was indeed a close contest between SRK and the shorty dude of Dhoom:3 when we asked our readers to vote for the biggest entertainer of 2013. But now the results are out and 35.30 percent of BL readers have voted for the witty actor.
Aamir Khan stands…err not exactly tall at the second position (pun definitely intended!). The shorty has bagged 30.57 percent votes even as his latest adventure flick Dhoom:3 has made Rs 270 crore as opposed to SRK’s Chennai Express which made Rs 216 crore at the box office in India. But such is the popularity of SRK’s global appeal that he continued enchant his fans with amazing guarantee. It’s a known fact that SRK is a much bigger star in the overseas market than the superbly talented Aamir. King Khan has once again proved that when it comes to pure entertainment, no one comes close to him. He must also be heaving a sigh of relief that a certain Sallu had no release this year that made things even easier for him to woo our readers.
Surprisingly Akshay Kumar has been voted as the third biggest entertainer of 2013, with 20.78 percent votes, even though his Boss was not that great a success. Perhaps BL peeps loved him in Special 26. What was even more shocking about our poll results was the fact that Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar who have delivered one blockbuster each in the form of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ram-Leela and Bhaag Milkha Bhaag have failed garnered even one percent vote individually, reflecting the hangover of superstars that reigns our collective filmi concious.
Why is Sherlyn Chopra copying Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Avril Lavigne?
The Kamasutra 3D actor seems to have been taking cues from Hollywood singers for her latest music video
Sherlyn Chopra has come up with her Bad Girl music video and while the track has an original tune, it still seems to be copied. You guessed it right! Most of Sherlyn’s looks have been lifted from Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Avril Lavigne.
The lady who seems to have westernised over night, firstly copies the ‘Do not cross yellow police tape’ look from Lady Gaga’s Telephone video. The look had become a rage leading to Gaga’s fans aping the look and uploading photographs on social networking sites. But it seems like Gaga has found her biggest fan in Sherlyn. After all, imitation is the best form of flattery, right?
Next she apes Avril Lavigne. Remember Avril had exposed her studded bra under a military onesie, which had created a lot of buzz that time? It seems that Sherlyn has loved the bra so much, that she got herself one and used it for her album’s photoshoot!
That’s not all! Sherlyn’s next “inspiration” was Rihanna’s Talk That Talk album cover. The Hollywood singer had featured the picture which showed her blowing smoke out of her mouth. There was a lot of controversy saying that Rihanna was smoking pod during the photoshoots. Sherlyn seems to want similar criticism for her. She definitely has copied the exact pose for the cover of her Bad Girl artwork, but needless to say Sherlyn lacks Rihanna’s super sexy attitude!

Bipasha Basu, happy birthday!
The Bong bombshell turns 35 today
Born on January 7, 1979, Bipasha Basu was a model before she entered Bollywood. Basu started modeling at 17 with her ex-boyfriend Dino Morea. She appeared in various endorsements and music videos. Bipasha made her debut in the industry with Abbas-Mustan’s Ajnabee opposite Akshay Kumar in a negative role. Though the film received rave reviews, the Bong bombshell won a lot of awards for her performance in the film.
After Ajnabee, Bipasha did Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz opposite Dino Morea which turned out to be one of the most successful films of 2002. After Raaz, she got recognition and did a number of films such as Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Chor Machaaye Shorand Gunaah. Following this, in 2003, Bips delivered Jism opposite her then boyfriend John Abraham which won her awards for her negative role and also earned her the tag of a sex goddess.
Post Jism, the actor appeared in numerous films like Zameen, Rudraksh, Aetbaar, Madhoshi, Rakht, Viruddh and Barsaat which did not fare too well at the box office. She was back in the groove with No Entry, Corporate, Omkara, Dhoom:2, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Race, Dum Maro Dumand Raaz 3. The hottie’s next release is Humshakals, Bang Bang and No Entry Mein Entry.

We’re sure she’s a lensman’s delight, for even this time around Bips doesn’t disappoint us. In a set up that has tyres and tar drums she stands out in her bejeweled leather ensemble, we bet you can’t take your eyes off those perfectly toned legs.
Parineeti Chopra purely pretty: The Hasee Toh Phasee actor might have shied away from a dare-bare act onscreen, but she definitely sizzles in Dabboo’s 2014 calendar. If you thought that a heroine in a bathtub is a sexy image, think again. Pari can make a pretty picture in a yellow trolley. We’re sure that’s the prettiest thing one has seen in a trolley like that.
Sonakshi Sinha – Dabangg babe: She’s out of her plus size and her desi looks and all for good. We like this avatar of Sonakshi Sinha, its less explored, edgy and a complete stunner! Wethinks that the Lootera babe should experiment a lot more and her new slim self and we’re sure she will rock it! Sonakshi’s hairdo, make-up, accessories and attire all get a thumbs up from us.
Vidya Balan ups the sex quotient: If she her Ghanchakkar act wasn’t sizzling, Ms Balan Kapur returns to her boombaat avatar. With only one accessory and her long lusturous hair falling over her shoulder and the red lips, she makes this Dirty Picture a hit!
Kareena Kapoor Khan poses on a king size chair that doesn’t belong to her anymore. While we like Bebo’s attitude the picture isn’t as hatke as the others. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s close-up clicks are a passe. While we know that the Raavan actor is blessed with beautiful features we did love a little more experiment on Ms Rai Bachchan’s part and lastly Katrina Kaif‘s this picture lacks the Dhoom feeling
